詳情	:	In 2017, the HKSAR Government decreed that BIM technology must be used in the design and construction of all major government capital works projects with a project cost estimate of more than HK$30 million that were scheduled to start during or after 2018, and that the use of this technology in private construction projects should also be promoted. This has generated a surge in demand for BIM personnel and training needs. To ensure that construction professionals have appropriate skill levels and competency in using BIM technology, and that the scope and quality of BIM courses provided in the market meet the needs of the industry, it was important to establish a certification body for BIM personnel and an accreditation body for BIM courses in Hong Kong. To facilitate the healthy development of BIM in Hong Kong, the Construction Industry Council (CIC) has introduced the BIM Certification and Accreditation Schemes to ascertain the competency of BIM personnel and the quality of local BIM training courses. In order to meet the increasing demand of BIM personnel as project BIM team leaders and coordinators according to the BIM structure requirement specified in DevB’s Technical Circular for the “Adoption of Building Information Modelling”, it is essential to build up capacity and capability of HKIS members for adopting BIM in property and construction projects. In this regard, the HKIS sets up the BIM Assessment and Listing Scheme and creates a listing system through which applicants may apply for admission to the List of “Surveyor BIM Pro”. The objectives of listing are to ensure that the applicants have acquired the recognised training and prescribed practical BIM experience and have attained a level of knowledge in professional practice acceptable to the HKIS for admission to the List of Surveyor BIM Pro. A streamlined procedure is also agreed with CIC where if an applicant wishes to become a HKIS Surveyor BIM Pro and CIC-Certified BIM Manager (CCBM), the applicant is only required to submit one application. No separate application is required to be submitted to CIC for certification as a CCBM. The HKIS will send one copy of the application documents to CIC for their review. To avoid duplication in assessment, the approval/disapproval of Surveyor BIM Pro and CCBM will be bundled, i.e., applicants will be approved/disapproved by HKIS as Surveyor BIM Pro with the same outcome of approval/disapproval of CCBM by the CIC BIM Certification and Accreditation Board (BIMCAB). HKIS BIM Committee, CIC’s representative, HKIS BIM Manager training course provider, BSI’s representative, would introduce the scheme for the HKIS’ members.
備註	:	Prior online registration is required. Walk-in registration will not be entertained. Eating and drinking is not allowed at the Surveyors Learning Centre.

Face-to-Face/Zoom	:

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
