講師	:	Sr LAI Lit-ki, Ricky FHKIS, MRICS Sr LAI is currently the Chief Land Surveyor of the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) of the HKSAR Government. He possesses more than 34 years’ experience of land surveying practice in the fields of engineering surveying, cadastral surveying, photogrammetry, GIS, and BIM. He embarked on his professional career with the government in 1993 and was chosen by the Lands Department to pursue a MSc degree in Photogrammetry with Remote Sensing at University College London (UCL) in 2000. Upon completing his study, he was honoured with the Hart Prize by UCL and the Geomatics Division Prize by RICS for his outstanding achievements. Throughout his tenure in the Lands Department, he accumulated extensive experience across distinct fields, including digital photogrammetry, spatial data management, IT/GIS system development, and land boundary survey practices.

詳情	:	Upon Sr LAI's posting to the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) in 2019, he participated in the BIM Harmonization study led by the Development Bureau and contributed to the publication of the BIM chapter in the Engineering Survey Practice Guide. As the head of CEDD Survey Division, Sr LAI has been leading the Division to adapt to the evolving practices of engineering surveying, enabling them to address the challenges of the Construction 2.0 era and leverage innovative technologies. Leading the development of a GIS-enabled Common Data Environment (CDE) for the department, Sr LAI will share his experience and insights gained from the department's digitalisation journey and how collaboration is achieved across disciplines to meet diverse business needs of the department.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
